Hyundai Reina is spot-on by its signature modern 2.0 fluidic sculpture design, which is heavily influenced by its predecessors with a cool-looking technical halogen lighting system in both head and tail positions. 

To optimize the cool look, there are also color-keyed viewing mirrors on two sides and side repeaters located on the fenders to improve the overlook.

 

Hyundai Reina can carry five passengers with ease as a 5-seater sedan with considerable length, width, and wheelbase (respectively 4300 mm, 1705 mm, and 2570 mm). 

As for color choices, there are five options in total: white, silver, brown, blue, and red. Unfortunately for black lovers, they cannot find their favorite color on this car in the Philippines market. 

Interior

Hyundai Reina interior is magnificent as it features a simple two-toned theme. 

The main color theme is beige, ranging from all the interior from the front to the back, combined with the special spot-on of black and silver on the dash and doors’ small details. The color arrangement makes the interior look welcome yet classy.

However, the seats’ material is concerning as its fabric material quite contrasts with its cool outlook. If there is an upgrade from fabric to leather, from the black color to brown, the Reina interior will be flawless.

Safety/Technology

Technology is one of the highlights of this car, as Hyundai has favored equipping it with the latest infotainment system. There is a 3.5-inch LCD screen with multi-purposed button settings. 

A head unit provides AM/FM capabilities and multiple USB ports to support connection. LCD lovers will also love this car as a 2.8-inch mono LCD cluster is available.

There are more safety features to come in the future, but right now, we only have the basic protection features like in this small vehicle, which is enough to keep the driver and passengers safe and sound. 

Engine/Performance

As simple as it can be, there is only one Hyundai Reina engine, a 1.4-liter gasoline power plant aspirated naturally. The engine production results in 94hp and 132 Nm of torque, which is moderate for a new vehicle. 

There is an option between setting it up with a four or 5-speed manual transmission.

 

To support this sedan’s travel, McPherson struts with stabilizers are equipped in the front, while torsion beam suspension is attached in the rear. Breaking occurs due to disc brakes and drums, under the special assistance of Hyundai’s PB platform.

As an urban sedan, Hyundai Reina does a good job traveling smoothly due to its performance specification matching the accelarrot’s input. Going fast isn’t a problem as Hyundai Reina top speed is valued, but it is not recommended with the engine settings in the car.
