The all-new SE Hybrid trim level will be available for 2023 models. It's the sportier, more luxurious version of XSE. With lower equipment costs, but still has all amenities you would expect!

The latest version is now available with all of the features you need. The base LE gets new headlamps, while XLE Limited, Premiums, TRD Off-Road & Adventure get LED fog lights. 

Other enhancements include:

• A redesigned lockable glove box on all models.
• An eight-way power passenger seat for Limited ver.
• A Calvary Blue color.​

Exterior

This version has a more distinct appearance and model diversity than its predecessors. That's a step forward.

The lower roof and extra room in the back make for better passenger comfort and increased versatility with child seats. In addition, LATCH anchors are easy to find in this car. They are on the sides near where you would sit when driving alone.

In the cargo space, there are 37 cubic feet of space. This is larger than most other compact crossovers but less so when compared to bigger cars in its class, such as a CRV or a Tucson. 

This was partly due to the low roof polarization that many people do not use for storage. As such, we found that this species & CRV can store the same amount of things, depending on how their owners set them up. 

In some cases, Tucson outperforms this version. However, the Hybrid has the advantage over both of its rivals' hybrids in that it keeps a spare tire. 

Keep remembering that this car's colossal battery pack elevates the floor, which means less cargo space. Still, many people don't care about this when choosing between cars.

Interior

Toyota RAV4 interior is good. It's not as good as some other crossovers, but it is better than previous models. 

The leather isn't real, so they use SofTex vinyl instead. So this might be a problem for higher-priced models like the Prime, which can cost up to $50,000 with extras. 

Still, we like how they used colorful pieces to make each model different from one another - we prefer that over metal trim or fake wood on other SUVs.

The touchscreen displays are available in three trim levels: 7", 8", and 9". They are all located high on the dashboard, making them simple to view, grasp or use. 

While we haven't tested a model smallest, both 8-inch & 9-inch models have similar basic and user-friendly designs. This model might be simple and not the newest one, but some people like it. The addition of physical buttons and knobs makes it easier to use.

Safety & technology

All trim levels of the LE come with blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic alerts as standard equipment. These are not standard on the other trim levels, but they are available. 

The Limited trim level comes with a rear cross-traffic braking system, but it is not available on any other grades. Besides, It is unclear at this time if the SE Hybrid is outfitted similarly to LE trim, aside from its styling differences and chassis. But maybe it will be.

This car got five out of 5 stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for side crash safety and 4 stars for frontal collision prevention.
