Nissan Patrol Overview

Nissan's flagship SUV and the newest edition of the Patrol range is the Patrol. It blends the ruggedness of Patrols with the luxury features of a fancy automobile to create a capable, well-appointed big Executive SUV. It gets a big facelift for the 2023 model season.

The most noticeable modification is the huge angular V-Motion grille flanked by LED headlights with C-shaped DRLs. It also receives a more aggressive bumper for a sportier design.

The taillights, back liftgate, and rear bumper have been given a more angular visual to match the revised front. A new set of alloy wheels completes the fresh design.

Nissan Patrol Review

Interior

The Nissan Patrol interior has been kept as the previous model, but additional tan leather parts (for the Brilliant Silver exterior option) have been added to provide a lovely contrast. There are still plenty of luxury materials on the dash and center console.

The center console has been redesigned and upgraded with new charging outlets, A/C vents and controls, and a huge touchscreen display encased in gloss-black plastics has been placed at the top.

A  wireless phone charging system, 13-speaker Bose premium music system, 7-inch Advanced Drive Display in the instrument panel, and a cool box to maintain drinks cool are also included as standard interior features.

Engine

The Patrol is operated by a 5.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine. As standard, the direct-injection engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to a full-time 4x4 system with low-range terrain modes and hill descent control.

The vehicle's combined fuel usage is rated at 14.4 liters per 100 kilometers, with 95 RON premium unleaded as a minimum for its large 140-liter fuel tank. Nissan Patrol off-road claims a maximum braked towing capacity of 3500kg, with a 350 kg tow ball download restriction and a Gross Combined Mass (GCM) of 7000kg.
