Suzuki Jimny Fuel Consumption in Comparison With Competitors

Suzuki Jimny vs Ford Ecosport

Suzuki Jimny is a rugged off-road 4×4 SUV first introduced in the 1970s. It is a two-seat vehicle that is powered by a 1197cc engine. The fuel consumption of Jimny is 6.2 km/l in the city and 5.2 km/l on the highway.

On the other hand, Ford Ecosport is a popular crossover vehicle available in petrol and diesel engine options. The fuel consumption of Ecosport is 9.6 km/l in the city and 6.1 km/l on the highway. So if you want to save your money, Jimny might be a great option.

Suzuki Jimny vs. Toyota Rush

Suzuki Jimny and Toyota Rush are SUVs known for their fuel efficiency in the Philippines – Suzuki Jimny is the most fuel-efficient vehicle in its class. However, since the introduction of the Toyota Rush in 2014, the Jimny has constantly been competing with the Rush to retain its title.

The Toyota Rush is a 4×4 vehicle with a 1.5-liter Dual VVT-i engine that's powerful yet efficient. Meanwhile, the Suzuki Jimny has a 1.3-liter 4-cylinder M13A engine that also gives great mileage.

Suzuki Jimny vs Hyundai Kona

This is a quick comparison between the Suzuki Jimny and the Hyundai Kona's fuel consumption in the Philippines market. After testing, the fuel consumption was 7.4 kilometers per liter for the Hyundai Kona and 8.4 kilometers per liter for the Suzuki Jimny. According to this test, while both are economical in their ways, the Suzuki Jimny is the better option.

The Suzuki Jimny and Hyundai Kona are two very different small SUVs. The Jimny is a no-frills, basic car. It's a little weak in the power department, but it makes up for that with its small size. From our perspective, it's not a bad deal at all at such a low price.

On the other hand, the Kona is like a compact SUV. It has a lot more power than the Jimny, and it's a little larger, but the sleek design and impressive fuel economy make it worth it. Even though it might cost you more, the vehicle is good for long-term investment.
