Engine

The Suzuki S-Presso top speed can be up to 67hp max horsepower output and 90 Nm max torque output which is quite decent and not extremely powerful. This engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission, which sends power to the front wheels.

The engine size is a 1.0L K10B 3-cylinder with an FWD drivetrain. The car has a MacpPheronson front suspension and a torsion beam in the back.

Technology & Safety

Suzuki S-Presso off-road gives drivers a wonderful experience with lots of entertainment technology added to the model in 2023.

The following list shows awesome features that get rid of your boredom in a car drive, such as: FM/AM/Radio, speakers front, integrated 2DIN audio, USB & auxiliary input, touch screen, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Suzuki S-Presso 2023 has many security specifications such as seat belts and crash sensors, an anti-lock braking system, child safety locks, 2 airbags, and an engine check warning that is family-friendly.

However, the model received a bad result on Global NCAP crash tests as it lacked seatbelt pretensioners, a front passenger airbag, and ISOFIX anchors, which are not available on the Indian-spec base trim.

Suzuki S-presso Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • This unique Suv is affordable even in 3 variants. It provides a lot of space for comfort.
  • Driving this car, you won't need to worry about Suzuki S-Presso fuel consumption as it has excellent fuel efficiency.

Cons:

  • Something you may not like about this car is the interior is not equipped with lots of features.
  • The NVH insulation is not ideal, and there is no automatic transmission option.
  • Apple CarPlay/Android Auto is not available.
  • For gear shifts, there is no tachometer.

Competitors Comparison

Honda Brio

The Honda Brio is slightly larger than the Suzuki S-Presso for the outlook, although they both have five seats. Both cars are similar in terms of safety with anti-lock braking, dual-front airbags, an engine immobilizer, and ISOFIX child seat tethers.

The Brio's 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine outperforms the S-Presso for engine power. The Honda Brio's price ranges from Php 610,000 to Php 735,000, higher than the Suzuki.

Toyota Wigo

The Toyota Wigo is longer but shorter in height with similar exterior features, including halogen headlamps, LED tail lights, and 14-inch wheels. The Wigo G and TRD S have a security alarm for safety features, which the Suzuki model does not.

A 1.0-liter inline-3 engine powers the Wigo making it just as potent as the one on the S-Presso. Toyota Wigo prices will start at Php 568,000 and Php 700,000.
