Suzuki XL7 Exterior

Suzuki has succeeded in turning the Ertiga's foundation into a more crossover-like automobile in the XL7 form by bringing drastic changes to the front design and small changes to the sides and rear, making it look like a car that looks different from other Suzuki XL 7 variants.

The Suzuki XL7 features a heavily redesigned front bumper with a huge hexagonal front grille that looks quite athletic. The front bumper looks very solid thanks to the upgrade of the black paneling, fog light border, and silver panel in the middle.

Except for the body panels on the wheel arches, the bottom of the doors, the silver sliding panels that run over the sides, and the huge roof rails, the side design is restricted compared to the Ertiga. The clamshell-like bonnet shape and floating roof look with thin black paint on the C-pillar give this Suzuki XL7 personality.

The Suzuki XL7 appears sportier in the back thanks to the elegant cladding on the bumper. The Ertiga's taillights remain kept, but with an extension at the top edge near the back windscreen, providing a Christmas tree impression. To distinguish it from the Ertiga, the back door has a thick black accent below the windscreen.

Interior & Features

While the outside of the Suzuki XL7 has changed significantly from the Ertiga, the inside cabin has only seen minimal alterations. Suzuki has used an all-black interior configuration with the XL7.

The multi-function three-spoke steering wheel and the instrument panel with multi-colored MID are highly appealing. The dashboard's center console houses a big 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with a tiny panel below for automated temperature control controls.

The Suzuki XL7 interior has nearly identical seating and size as the Ertiga. The model has earned several praises for its ability to build space for seven individuals in such a little place.

Engine & Fuel Consumption

The Suzuki XL7 fuel consumption is only available with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine, like the Ertiga, Ciaz, and Jiminy of the same generation. The automobile's engine is designed to have a maximum capacity of 105 PS and a maximum torque of 138 Nm as standard.

Ride & Handling

The Suzuki XL7's soft suspension, which includes struts on the front and torsional bars in the rear, is tuned to provide a pleasant ride.

On the other hand, the re-steer option is on the mild side, giving the impression of a lack of power while driving at greater speeds, making steering less confident than speed enthusiasts would anticipate.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Large 10-inch infotainment and information system
  • Elegant and contemporary exterior
  • Exquisite gasoline engine
  • Spacious cabin
  • Worth the money

Cons

  • Narrow interior space
  • Insulation is just enough
  • Processing at higher speeds
