Nissan Terra Modified - Exterior, Interior, Engine & Safety

Updated Jun 01, 2022

When Nissan introduced the Terra model in 2018, it raised the bar in the pickup-based SUV sector. In addition, Nissan Intelligent Mobility's vast array of electronic assistance features is a must-have for Filipinos. Especially users who are seeking a car with many features for the entire family.

Despite Terra's rivals catching up in many ways, Nissan plans some tricks to keep it ahead. Nissan's seven-seater family SUV is more brutal, adaptable, and sophisticated, with numerous luxury and innovative features that enable shared adventures and experiences with ones.

So what are Nissan Terra modified in its design, technology, and performance? Let's go straight into this post for additional information!

4 Factors Nissan Terra Modified In 2023

New Exterior Features

The exterior of the Nissan mid-size SUV features an "unbreakable design", giving it a robust, contemporary, techy, and stylish appearance.

Under the Nissan logo is the written Terra in chrome, as well as the revised spoiler and shark fin antenna on top.

In addition, Nissan Terra accessories such as the side mirror, door handles, bumper highlights, radiator-grille surrounds, and step board are all darkened to make the vehicle appear sportier.

The redesigned V-motion grille features a revised front bumper with an edgier appearance. Furthermore, the sports car’s new headlights and tail lights are also incorporated into the revamped front bumper.

These new taillights are so different in appearance from anything else on the road. We love how they accentuate the entire rear of the vehicle and make it look completely fresh. And like you would expect from the name of this car, it is aggressively inspired.

New Interior Features

Nissan Terra Modified Interior

Modifying Nissan Terra is not an easy task, especially for an interior design. However, a Terra interior is exceptional, so even the slightest modification needs many details.

Installing a carbon fiber trim on the doors is the easiest thing to do, and the best part is that the original Nissan logo is still there, which is the best part. It will cost you around 300$ for all four-door carbon fiber. So the parts are not that expensive.

The users will love the luxurious D-shaped and leather-wrapped steering wheel. When you're ready to steer, the new steering wheel has a more direct steering ratio so that you can turn it more accessible.

On the other hand, Nissan's Zero-Gravity seats were inspired by NASA's space pilot seats. So this certainly is among the finest in the market because your posterior won't be painful even after long periods of sitting.

Additionally, the second & third-row seating areas are elevated by two inches, so you don't have to strain your neck to view the stunning 11-inch, fold-down touch screen.

New Engine And Transmission Features

The tried-and-true 2.5-liter turbodiesel engine produces 187 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. It's a perfect blend of power and fuel efficiency with linear performance characteristics.

The test-driven model features a 7-speed transmission with an independent axle and shock absorbers that keep the car smooth even over rough terrain. The addition of Highway Terrain tires in this diesel SUV makes its drive comfortable for passengers of all shapes and sizes.

The 80-liter fuel tank ensures ample diesel fuel for extended journeys. Furthermore, city drivers will be pleased to learn that the 2023 Nissan Terra customized achieves 8 kpl in driving city and 17 kpl in driving highway. This is pretty good considering the car's size and powertrain.

Overall flexibility and fuel efficiency may be best left to other vehicles, but this may be the best one can expect from a vehicle like this.

New safety features

The Nissan Terra model values safety to such an extent that it merits its own section in my evaluation.

Intelligent Mobility is the logo for all of Nissan's active & passive driving assisting technologies designed to make driving more comfortable and safe.

It includes features such as Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control, which are both included in all models. Your vehicle also comes with the Intelligent Around View Monitor on every Terra you purchase.

While the Terra has a blind-spot warning system and an intelligent rearview mirror that shows a video feed for more visibility, it also warns of lane departures.

All standard equipment such as a spare tire, ABS, anti-lock braking system, front parking sensors, seatbelts, and a rearview camera is included with your vehicle.

Final Thoughts

Overall, we are happy to say that Nissan Terra upgrades were a pleasant surprise. It felt like a truck, but it handled like a car. Moreover, its reliability should last at least a decade.

Again, if you are looking for 7 seats, room for camping gear, decent off-road performance as well as an affordable price, the Nissan Terra modified 2023 is a good choice.
